Jess
In “previous lives” Jess was variously a legal expert in international commercial arbitration, a whitewater kayaker, and a personal trainer. It was her personal health struggle with rheumatoid arthritis, however, and her subsequent journey to heal herself through nutritional therapy that ultimately brought her to Ayahuasca and the shamanic path. Through a series of beautiful and synchronous events, Jess found herself in her first Ayahuasca retreat and since that moment, she has been a devoted student of the Medicine, dedicating herself and her life to the service of holding space for spiritual awakenings. Jess has been serving the Medicine and leading ceremonies for the last eight years and she is currently continuing her medicine path to become a Tabaquera under the tutelage Maestro Tabaquero Ernesto García de la Torres in Iquitos, Peru.
Jeff
A born teacher with a resonant gift for song and laughter, Jeff offers deep and loving wisdom and works in the Mestizo and Andean medicine practices. Jeff’s offerings are anchored in Love, in its many manifestations and expressions. He is a masterful communicator in this world, the tech domains, and the unseen realms.
Colleen
Colleen has been trained through a powerful lineage of healers in the Peruvian Mestizo traditions. Her work revolves around ensuring that participants feel secure, supported, and empowered throughout their transformative journeys. Her emphasis on trauma-informed care contributes to a nurturing environment where healing can unfold organically. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for participants. Her dedication to staying informed about harm reduction methodologies and psychological well-being reflects a commitment to creating a safe, evolving space for those seeking healing through Ayahuasca. She engages in ongoing learning, collaborating with fellow healers and staying attuned to the evolving landscape of consciousness exploration. Her commitment to growth reflects a deep respect for the ever-unfolding mystery. As a skilled space holder, she cradles the vulnerabilities of each participant, creating an environment where suffering is acknowledged, embraced, and ultimately transformed. As an eternal student, Colleen continues to explore the boundless realms of compassion. Her dedication to learning and evolving reflects a commitment to being a conduit for healing, embodying the Bodhisattva’s vow to alleviate suffering wherever it is found.
Heather
Heather’s journey with the medicine began in 2017. After having a couple intense transformational experiences she took a few years to integrate and came back to the medicine shortly after meeting Jess in 2021. Heather has had the pleasure to get to know Jess and her family through helping with Bodhi care (watching Jess’s son during retreats). In 2021 she completed the Kambo Level 1 & 2 Practitioner Training and Level 1 & 2 Holographic Sound Healing Training.
Heather started doing more of the “behind the scenes” retreat prep and email support for Cielo starting Spring 2023. She has enjoyed the natural flow of being able to support Jess in and outside of the ceremony space, especially as she takes more time away from retreat, as she plans to welcome in a baby early Spring 2024.
Besides supporting Cielo, Heather is a yoga instructor and primarily teaches classes in Portland, OR. She is also a Sacred Empowerment Practitioner and Certified Hypnotherapist & Past Life Regression Specialist. She continues to access soulful experiences with her clients outside of the ceremony space using shamanic journeying and guided hypnosis. These methods that she has learned and continues to practice have helped her greatly with her own integration in between retreats.
Ceremony (with and without medicine) is an important aspect of Heather’s life. She finds it very meaningful to honor the seasons, cycles and the major thresholds of life. When she can, Heather enjoys gathering with women around the moon cycles. Heather has also taken up an interest in flower essences and homeopathic medicine and plans to deepen her studies in this field.
She is honored to be a part of this team and of service to the medicine, the sacred space that is created in ceremony, and the deeply profound and healing transformation that individuals experience on their spiritual journey.
